Peniscola is busy in the height of the season the population swells from 3,000 to 10,000 + that said there are no problems finding places to eat etc. and the atmosphere is vibrant with fiestas a regular occurance. This is quite a sophisticated Spanish resort also favoured by the French, Germans & Italians there is a very cosmopolitan feel to the town. There are many places to visit close by and for the more adventurous quality walking in the Sierra D'Irta national park right on your doorstep, so don't forget your boots.
