Terms & Conditions when booking "Villa de las Estrellas"
Anyone booking our villa will be subject to the following terms and conditions. By making a booking clients are confirming that they agree with the following:
1. Your booking is with “Peniscolavilla.com”. Your deposit must accompany your booking. You will receive our written confirmation and account via E mail. The balance of the holiday price must be paid 8 weeks prior to departure, or at the time of booking if within 8 weeks of departure. We will supply details of our account at the time.
* In addition clients will be expected to provide a bond in the sum of 300€ when the final balance is paid. This will be returned within 14 days of departure subject to a damages and breakages inspection by our agents. Our villa is strictly non-smoking (inside) any evidence of smoking in the villa will result in the bond being withheld.
2. To secure your holiday a deposit of 25% of the total cost for the duration of your holiday must be paid when booking. This is non-returnable in the event of any cancellation, notification of which is required by phone and then confirmation by email. Payment in full is required if booking is made within 8 weeks of departure.
3. The balance becomes due 8 weeks before your holiday, and we reserve the right to re-let the accommodation if this condition is not met.
4. The rental period is from 3pm on the day of arrival and up to 10am on the day of departure. Variation of these times is by prior arrangement only. Please leave the property and all equipment, clean and tidy. July & August are particularly busy and guests are asked to ensure they vacate on time to give our cleaners the opportunity to prepare the villa for the next clients.
5. You are responsible for all keys whilst they are in your possession and must leave them in the property at the end of your rental period. Should this not happen, please notify us straight away and you will be responsible for their safe return to ourselves in the UK by registered post.
6. Cancellation by clients. Notice of cancellation must be made via E Mail. If clients cancel the reservation, any deposit will not be refunded. If cancellation is made after the full balance has been paid, depending on the period of notice received the following cancellation charges will apply,
8 weeks or more: 25%
6 - 8 weeks: 50%
4 - 6 weeks: 75%
0 - 2 weeks: 100%
7. Website Accuracy. We have taken great care to ensure accuracy. Certain situations may be dictated by local circumstances, e.g. maintenance, local construction work, water shortages, adverse weather, fuel shortages, power cuts, and other circumstances beyond our control. If we are advised of this, we will inform you as soon as possible, but we cannot be held liable in such circumstances. It is important to remember that some facilities may not operate at all times of the season.
8. We will make every effort to make your holiday peaceful and enjoyable. However we cannot be held liable for any unforeseen disruption, disturbance, inconvenience arising out of building/construction work or noise howsoever caused.
9. Pets/animals are not allowed except by prior consent. Please ensure that on vacating the property the accommodation is left as you found it, clean and tidy, please remove all personal belongings, food and refuse.
10. Clients are asked to conduct themselves in a manner which is acceptable to fellow visitors/residents. Disruptive behaviour and/or late night/early morning disorderliness is unacceptable. This is a quiet area and failure to comply with this request could result in your being asked to leave the property without notice.
11. Accommodation Availability. All accommodation offered is subject to availability at the time of booking.
12. Cancellation by ourselves. In the unlikely event of the reservation being cancelled by the ourselves a refund of all monies paid by clients will be made. We accept no further liability in this regard. We will assist in finding alternative accommodation purely on a voluntary basis.
13. Personal/Public Liability. We cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage howsoever caused. You are strongly advised to secure holiday insurance and to bring with you an up to date E111 Form for medical cover (available from the post office).
14. Swimming Pool. The swimming pool is used at the clients own risk and children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The pool is maintained daily in the season (mid June – Sept).
15. Appliances. Every effort is taken to ensure that all appliances in your accommodation are in full working order at the start of your holiday. In the event of breakdown of an appliance, please contact one of our nominated contacts who will endeavour to effect repair during your stay. Please note the double garage underneath the villa is for the use of the owners only.
*Please note, the villa is fully air conditioned, there are four separate units all with individual remote controls.
16. Breakages. You are asked to report all damage immediately.
17. Call out. If an emergency occurs such as loss of keys and you need to call out one of our nominated contacts, there will be a nominal call out charge of 20 euros. If for any reason the time is extended, there will be a subsequent charge of 15 euros per hour.
